Taguchi’s experimentation method is an efficient technique to optimize the processes and quality of the products. This study focuses on the optimization of the designing process of Cam in computer-aided simulation applications using Taguchi’s experimentation method. For the single body simulation part of the analysis, Autodesk Inventor software was used. Basic radius, Width and Lift at the end were taken as the control factors and optimal design parameters and their significance were tested. ADAMS software was used for multi-body dynamic simulation and kinetic energy of the follower was optimized considering Young’s Modulus, Density and Width were considered as the control factors. For both cases, optimal levels and effects of design factors have been calculated..
